Q. Are there limits to what I can use the sale or financing proceeds?
A. Not at all. As a landowner you may want to finally take that dream vacation or finance a college education for a family member.
Q. How many acres does my property have to be for Vine to make me an offer?
A. We’re looking for properties that are a minimum of 10 acres.
Q. Are there any tax benefits and if so, what are they?
A. You should consult your tax advisor about your specific situation but generally speaking, sales of minerals are considered capital gains whereby royalty revenue is treated as regular income. In some cases a landowner can save up to 20% in taxes through a mineral sale.
Q. What are the closing costs or other fees?
A. All fees and closing costs are paid for by Vine Royalty.
Q. Does Vine Royalty lease minerals?
A. No, we are not leasing minerals in your area at this time. We are interested in purchasing.
